Brief:   Very Rare Vintage 1931 National Triolian Metal Body Ukulele wih Original Vintage Case! Instrument Is In Excellent Condition, like new! Interesting history - I have original documentation (handwritten and newspaper ad, etc.) stating this rare Ukulele was owned by "Ukulele Ike" (legal name: Mr. Cliff Edwards). It states that Ukulele Ike's sister in Evansville, Indiana had it in her closet for 40 years and then finally decided to sell it. It went to the personal collection of Mr. Ed Krietemeyer, Owner of Krietemeyer Music in Evansville, Indiana. Mr. Krietemeyer states he kept it for some ten years and then in 1984 he offered it for sale in the July 1984 edition of the publication International Musician (I have that issue/ad as well). It was then that my Aunt Mrs. Norman (Grace) King saw the ad and made the purchase. The highly rare and beautiful Ukulele remained in its vintage case protected in her home for 25 years until her recent passing. That is when I inherited this instrument and case (from her executor/son). Upon extensive research I have found an estimated value, without adding any connection to Ukulele Ike, to be $3,500.00 on up. One source said $6,500.00 all depending on the buyers interest in such a rare piece. I now offer this most magnificent Ukulele and its original vintage case, along with all documentation I have (as a bonus to you) for the fast-sale price of $2,500.00 (US Dollars). A rare and beautiful vintage Ukulele in wonderfully impressive condition. Photo's are available upon request, I have many photo's to send you. Respectfully, Steven V. Gire, email: stevegarey@yahoo.com
