New Listing Wanted: Older Kamaka Pineapple/Soprano/Concert

Play wear is OK, but the instrument needs to be crack/damage free and 100% playable. A case would be a bonus. If you have something that might fit the bill let me know! New Listing FS Jay Lichty Custom Tenor, sinker redwood & paua ferro
Up for sale: Jay Lichty custom tenor, sinker redwood & paua ferro. These are the specs: • Made in North Carolina 2011 • Sinker Redwood Top • Pau Ferro Back and Sides • High gloss finish • Mahogany neck, slightly on the thick side. • Ebony Fingerboard (looks like it is bound but • Ebony Through-Bridge • Fingerboard markers are Paua Abalone dots on top and white dots on the side • Back strip of white • Head Plate Wood: Pau Ferro with Lichty logo in paua inlay • Nut and Saddle: Bone, Compensation mount on the saddle • Binding is Cocobolo with B/W strips, black white purfling on top binding • Cocobolo endgraft • Gotoh sealed gear tuners with amber knobs • Sound hole rosette: Paua Abalone w/ black/white/black inner ring • Gloss finish • Tenor, standard shape • 14 frets to body, 19 total • Hard case included Sound is clean and warm with much clarity and sustain. Good balance across the strings, currently strung with Fremont Blacklines and Soloist low g. Action is good for easy fretting and playing. There is no flaw I can find in construction. The uke is in very good condition, it has some light wear and shows some use (strum marks, a little finish wear, and a couple small faint scratches). Finish is not perfect. While it is not in new condition, it’s not real far from it. No dings or hard wear. Only looking to sale to reduce my hoard of ukes. I have 2 other sinker redwood tenors. Here’s my fairly recent sound sample with Fremont blackline strings in c tuning. https://app.box.com/s/wc9pzsd00xxwg7z1v211rs617okmvbvx

New Listing Gorgeous Anuenue concert banjo ukulele. (No longer made)
Well, the job hunt continues, and the next instrument to be sacrificed is my Anuenue concert banjo ukulele. This was an exceptional entry into the banjo ukulele market. It's a shame they didn't continue making them (and puzzling, considering they couldn't keep them on the shelves when they did). This is a concert scale banjo ukulele, with an 8" head. The rim, resonator and neck are made from gorgeous curly maple. I haven't seen this kind of wood (or anything close) on any other production banjo uke. Just striking. Ebony fretboard, ebony and maple bridge, brass hardware, which is burnished to give an antique-y, almost steam-punk look. Buffalo bone nut and saddle. Another bonus is the addition of a removable arm rest- a very nice and uncommon feature. This banjo uke plays very comfortably, with nice easy action and excellent volume. The tone is sweet, and can be modified by playing it with the resonator in place, or removing it for an open-back sound. The Ukulele Guy demonstrates this is one of his videos. This instrument is in mint condition, apart from a very tiny ding in the underside of the rim (pictured). I was unaware of it the entire time I've owned this uke, and only discovered wit while taking photos for this sale. If you're tired of dealing with vintage banjo ukes with lots of issues, and plinky sounding production models, but don't want to mortgage your house for a Gibson, this uke could end your BUAS once and for all. Here's a very nice example of this model being fingerpicked: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3Xgn2ABSR8 Hear it strummed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OdKI8bsUlg Here's the only one I could find currently for sale,(at $535.00): http://www.guitarjunky.ca/spip.php?article1088 This uke ships in the very high quality hard case pictured. Asking $425.00 Conus shipping and insurance included. (Paypal gift or buyer pays paypal fees). Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions (don't forget to remove spaces and spam proofing from email address) Thanks for looking!

New Listing FS: KoAloha KSM-T2 Tenor Neck Soprano with bag

Through various trades, I come into possession of something very different.

https://goo.gl/photos/RjTSVcgxJeGLJTUf8

I already have a tenor neck concert and was looking to satisfy my need of a Soprano, which I didn't have. The soprano neck is way too small for me, so I decided that I wanted to try a tenor neck soprano.

A KoAloha became available and I took the plunge as I have two other KoAlohas. I also received about the same time a KoAloha soprano with a concert neck. This is the one that satisfies two needs for me: A soprano and a concert size Uke.

Therefore the KoAloha tenor neck soprano is now available.

This one was built in Dec. 2014. It is strung with Worth Browns, which mellows up the soprano sound a bit, so if you want that Hawaiian soprano twang, you may consider changing to Worth Clears, Oasis Brights, Martin 600's, Living Waters, etc. It is in terrific shape.

This Uke has a beautiful light streak down the center. The former owner named it Pepe Le Uke, and I see why.

It will come with a soft gig bag as I do not have a hard case for it.

I am leaving in 3 days for 3 weeks and would like to get this to it's new owner before I go.

Here's your chance for a different kind of a KoAloha. Be the first one on your block to own one.

$675 + shipping. OBO.

1920's Martin 3K soprano (REDUCED!)
You all know what this one is. The most beautiful ukulele design ever conceived, which also happens to be unparalleled in sound and playability (it's a Martin). This uke features beautiful flamed Koa; original finish with lots of scratches & dings; multi-ring rosette; mahogany neck; 17-fret ebony fretboard with skunk stripe and diamond shaped inlays; koa bridge; bone nut and saddle; barrel tuners. Ivoroid parend below bridge. 3 top cracks were repaired with hide glue prior to my taking ownership. Previous owner also had the string slots filled with koa, to hold strings. Two hairlines and various dings on back, and the typical tiny stress cracks at the waist (none of which were disclosed to me when I purchased it, but I kept it anyway, because it's a treasure). Binding near parend is cracked in two places, as pictured. Bar frets are in good condition. Play wear at upper bout (you'll know why when you hear it). The uke sounds fantastic and is ready to play. It also has mojo up the wazoo. Martin called the style 3 their professional line, and the 3K was top of that line. Here are plenty of pictures. Vintage hardshell case has seen better days, but is still very cool. In the first pic the handle is fully attached, but has since come loose on one side. Despite the repairs, dings and scratches, this is a beautiful ukulele, and will make someone extraordinarily happy to play it. I'm sorry to see it go. (Paypal gift, or buyer pays Paypal fees). Thanks for looking! (Please fix spam proofing in email address)

Black Bear koa soprano
#480. Lovely instrument, built by Duane Heilman 4/2015. Some very minor rubbing around soundhole, otherwise as new. Full, warm, punchy, resonant, lovely feel, excellent volume. * 40 year seasoned all koa body * mango neck with graphite truss rod for extra strength/stability * rosewood fretboard and bridge * bone nut and saddle * grover friction tuners w/ white buttons * maple and ebony headplate bear inlay * double ringed maple rosette * 12 frets to the body, 15 total * pearl marker inlays at 5, 7, 10 * currently strung with high G fremont blacklines I have overspent, like, waaay overspent on a new uke and need to sell on the only two ukes I have left as collateral...both of which I adore and am very reluctant to part with. Such is the curse of UAS. This Black Bear soprano ukulele is one of them. It's a brilliant uke. This is your chance to get hold of an essentially new Black Bear at considerably reduced price. Original cost 600 plus shipping with no case. Asking 525, including a new hardshell case and will pay worldwide shipping. More pics, questions, sound samples etc please email and I will respond immediately. Thanks for looking!

WTB solid uke with headphone pickup
Our club music director is starting cancer treatments and took a uke to the chemo lab and the nurses said it was a bit too loud for the others there. I would like to find a solid uke, with a headphone pickup, for his time in the chemo lab. Something that will be quiet. Nothing fancy or pristine, just something to soften the time in treatment. Prefer tenor scale, but flexible. Anyone want to part with one? Ralph Kelley Tulsa uke club

Mya Moe 6 String Classic Tenor Master Grade Myrtle
This beautiful master grade Myrtle tenor was originally commissioned by Canadian Singer/Songwriter Shelly O'Brien. I purchased it from her about 2 years ago. Here is the link to the Mya Moe Uke Tracker web page where you can see the details of the build: https://www.myamoeukuleles.com/uketracker.php?trackingNumber=382 I have since replaced all the tuners (one was slipping and Gordon Mayer sent me a whole new set to ensure they all matched) and recently had the frets dressed and the instrument re-set up with Southcoast Strings. I had Worths on there before but the Southcoast strings has made an amazing instrument just incredible. Here are a few links to YouTube videos of Shelley actually playing the uke: This one is from an interview she did on a Dutch Radio Station. She starts playing about 2:32 in from the start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk2EbkpY6Sk This one is about Shellys' background in Canada. This uke is featured in a song she sings towards the end of the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUk3pWB-rQU I'd rate the condition of the uke at at least 9.5/10 It comes with the OEM case, Passive Pick Up, an upgraded bone strap button, multiple sets and singles of Mya Moe (Worths), Southcoast and Alvarez strings, an Hydrometer and an Humidifier Current build cost: Approx $US2100 - Current delivery wait time: Approx 24 months. Kiwaya KMS-K Soprano Ukulele
I am selling my near mint, (could pass for new), Koa, Kiwaya Master grade ukulele. The only mark that I can find is a very faint scratch on the top. You can not feel it and it only shows when you hold it at an angle to the light. The price includes a semi-hard case, PayPal cost and USP Ground shipping to the lower 48. The tone and playability are very open and clear, with fairly low action. The Koa is nicely flamed without being to busy and the finish has a soft, satin, (not flat), look. It is very warm and expressive. A beautiful, classic ukulele at a great savings.

2015 Kamaka HF-1 w/Gotoh Tuners and HSC
I purchased this soprano uke earlier this year from Hawaii Music Supply. It has been set-up to play like butter. It is in perfect condition- no scratches or dings. I had HMS install two strap pins. It is strung with Martin 600 strings and it rings like a bell! It has the new Gotoh tuners that look like friction tuners but have gears in them. They work like a charm. $675.00 with Kamaka HSC. Price includes standard shipping to the CONUS only. I accept Paypal.

Kamaka HF-3 Tenor
Purchased new by me (original owner) earlier this year (March 2015) from an authorized KAMAKA dealer. This is a quality all Koa instrument, by one of the top Hawaiian makers, with very very light use (as close to new as you will find, with no issues). Includes original paperwork as depicted, and original authorized KAMAKA hardshell case. This Uke has been well-cared for by a responsible adult (57 year-old retired attorney)---- I am selling as I play the guitar and lost interest in transitioning to the uke. Priced to sell at $950 (plus $49 insured shipping within Continental USA only).

SOLD Mya-Moe #875 Master Grade Chocolate Heart Myrtle Cutaway Tenor

Pictures can be seen at:

https://goo.gl/photos/6W7aYUXHqPAMEKKo7

Up for sale is something real special.

Mya-Moe #875 is a cutaway tenor made with Master Grade Chocolate Heart Myrtle and is simply lovely. Tough to part with but just picked up a couple of others that I am playing more and so this one must be re-homed. It does no one any good to have a Uke of this caliber just sitting. It needs to be played and loved.

It is in wonderful condition. It has strap pins, one of each color, for a reason I don't know, but they don't visually disturb the Uke. The only thing to report is that on a few places in the front and back, when you rub your fingers on the body, it feels a little grainy. Nothing to be concerned about. Other than that, this is a real beauty.

With Mya-Moe's backlog and their recent announcement that they will be reducing their output, it could be awhile before you get your hands on one.

If you were to go to the website and put in all the specs for this Uke into the Uke builder, you would come to $2000 + shipping.

If you want to purchase, I have it at $XXX. Remember, this is a Pro Classic, which is Pono's top line.

This will come with a Hard Shell Case. Shipping is $25 in the U.S. PayPal gift preferred.

FT: Kepasa Madeira
Up for trade is my 2010 Kepasa Madeira, (#074), built by Kevin Crossett in Middlesex, VT. (http://kepasaukulele.com/soprano.htm) This soprano has a mahogany body, a Spanish cedar neck, ebony fretboard and bridge, and a horn nut and (compensated) saddle. It has black top and back binding, a herringbone strip running the length of the neck, a B/W/B/W/B rosette, and B/W/B purfling around the headstock and heel cap. I've upgraded the tuners to Gotoh planetary pegs; it's strung with Southcoast mediums; it comes with one of those ugly-but-functional uke crazy cases. Ideally, I'd like to trade for a Pono Baritone Nui or a tenor guitar, although I suppose I'd also be tempted by the right baritone uke. I don't mind if some $$ travels in either direction. Any questions, please let me know. Cheers.

SOLD Ko’olau T1 Hawaiian Ash tenor
It’s hard to find a Ko’olau Hawaiian ash tenor. I’ve had this uke for two years, but I'm making room for a custom. Top, back and sides are made of Hawaiian ash, a surprisingly beautiful tone wood.  Rosewood fingerboard and tie bridge. Bone nut and saddle. Nut is standard 1 7/16” Mother of pearl fret markers and headstock logo.  The neck is very comfortable and the action is low.  This simple design is beautifully executed, with a satin finish that is smooth to the touch.  It projects a full and rich sound with good volume when strumming, but also rings clearly with quieter picking.  It’s in excellent condition, with no dings or scratches.  (NOTE: There are some very light strum marks on the treble side of the upper bout. You can see them if you hold it at exactly the right angle, but not from 2 feet away.) SOUND: It sounds much deeper and fuller than other light-colored woods (like spruce and maple).  Here's my first soundfile: https://app.box.com/s/zd10htbrwdcskqtqvqmahg3wifqicbrb Here soundfile #2: https://app.box.com/s/6aac9xt1u5thyv31pytg31lokrkaxeuu And here’s Corey playing it on the HMS site: https://vimeo.com/33332796 $895 including Uke Crazy tweed hard case and insured ConUS shipping. Payment by Paypal.    (If you know me from my UU posts/videos, I’d be happy for a friends/gift transfer.)

Florida Sun causes havoc on a High End Tenor Ukulele.

THIS UKE HAS NOW BEEN SOLD

I recently bought a Jason Wolverton Tenor. To bond with it, I took it on holiday with me down to the Florida Keys. On the way home, I packed it in it's case and put it in trunk to keep it out of the direct sunlight. It was in the trunk too long and it was damaged.

Before sending it off for repair, I am offering this "as is" to someone who has the vision to see what it could look and sound like when it is repaired.

A little history of Jason Wolverton can be found here.

http://jasonwolverton.com/index.php?...d-information/

He starts his Ukes at $1999.

MAKE AN OFFER. This could be your lucky day at my expense.

DON'T BE SHY.

I am also open to a trade for a Kamaka HF-2L or 2LD (long neck concert), or a Kanile'a long neck concert or a KoAloha Pineapple Sunday. Cash can be exchanged.

Thanks for reading.
