Up for grabs is a very cool and RARE Washburn Model 1915, style 1715. I have been told it was most likely manufactured in Chicago at the Washburn factory sometime between 1915-1922. Here are the specs from an old catalog photo (I included the photo) in Hubert Pleijsier�a book on Washburn instruments: �Highest grade flamed mahogany. Beautifully finished and highly polished. Top, back, and heel bound with black and white celluloid. Sound hole bound with black and white celluloid and decorated with three rings of wood inlaying. Top, back, and sides inlaid with a faint line of white celluloid. Mahogany neck, Koa fingerboard, bridge, and headpiece. Champion patent pegs with black buttons.� The flamed mahogany is really stunning looking! Comes with the original hard shell case with fully functioning latches that work great. It has a beautiful warm punchy tone that sounds really good and continues to ring after you stop strumming. The benefit of being over 100 years old sure makes a difference. Now onto condition. Over all it is in really Good condition with normal scratches and wear conducive with being over 100 years old. It has the following: * Original friction tuners with one replacement white button, fully functional and keep tuning. * Finish crazing conducive with age. * Two wear spots on top in finish from strumming (see picture). This was definitely played which no doubt opened up the sound. * Two hairline surface cracks in neck. Repaired a long time ago and completely stable (see pictures) * Tiny hairline crack on top next to bridge (see picture). This is very common and these older ukuleles. It appears to be very stable so it was either fixed a long time ago or is just on the surface. * No other cracks, or major dings/scratches on the ukulele. * The first three frets on the fretboard show finger marks from playing. * The binding is all intact and needs no repair. * The bridge is glued down and not lifting up. * The top is flat with no bellying or concaving. This is a very cool and rare ukulele. This really deserves to be displayed or enjoyed as part of a collection. Asking $400 shipped to lower 48 states. Lovely Hawaiian soprano with beautiful solid koa body. It has very light wear and is in great shape. Previous owner modified the headstock, including swapping out the tuners so there are plugged holes on the back of the headstock where the original tuners had been. I build exclusively alternative ukuleles, some of them on the wild and whimsical side, some of them lass fanciful, but all of them differing from the normal type of guitar-shaped uke. This is the very first ukulele in my new limited series "Up in the Air." Normally I design and build ukes as models or types (the Cat's Eye, Tercet, and so on) that are repeatable. For this limited series, each ukulele will be a one-off creation and not repeated. There might be some changes in the line-up shown, but in any case the number of ukes will be limited to ten. While the ukes in the series are "novelty" ukes so-called, I design and build them as unique works of art, not as mere curiosities or conversation pieces, and as legit musical instruments you can use every day to play any type of music you like. The Wild Duck, for example, has a good sized body, with v-bracing inside, for strong volume and a pleasing tone.

Gorgeous near mint Kamaka soprano rarely played, bought from original owner that received it as a gift in the 1970's and didn't like it! Original friction tuners are a bit fussy but work well. Original box and strings included; no case. There is a faint string change mark on the soundboard that is barely noticeable. Strung with Worth Clears.

This is a one of a kind pandemic project that I asked Kevin Crossett (luthier at Kepasa Ukuleles) to build for me. I wanted a silent practice uke so I wouldn't drive my wife crazy and it has also been a great travel uke. Way better than the Risa stick that I had been using. I had the Magic Fluke solid body electric tenor in mind - but I wanted a concert scale in a soprano size that wasn't offered. Kevin created a really cool "Stradivarius" style body with peghed tuners and a K&K pickup.I think it looks fantastic and It actually sounds pretty good without amplification - but I also used it with a small headphone amp (https://magicfluke.com/Electro-Harmonix-Headphone-Amp_p_203.html) and it really sounds great plugged into that. This is in like-new condition, other than one tiny tool mark (see pic) on the upper bout (about 1mm long).
